They are almost exactly what I wanted. The "almost" isn't due to the product but the size of the windows. They were custom made by previous owner and so not normal regular size. To have them be exactly what I want, the would need to be70 inches in length and have five or six inches more in width.They don't block out a lot of the sun, but that is not what I wanted them mainly for; that was insulation and they do better than what I did have. They look nice, hang well, have a nice fold and dress up what was a dinning room and is now is a study. Not too fancy but some class.When these panels arrived the color was a little lighter than the picture, but they still looked lovely. There were no brand or care tags on the panels. I do believe they are seconds. From ironing there was a few flaws in the fabric, but you can't tell once they're hung. The panels are not light blocking, although the seem to keep out the cold and heat. I did see panels exactly like these on a Sears website, but at a much higher price.I bought this single-panel, blackout curtain to cover a window in my front door. It arrived a few days after I ordered it, and it is not at all what I expected--in a good way. I thought a blackout curtain would be heavy, with some kind of black, plastic backing, but it is nothing like that. It seems like a regular, very fancy curtain panel. The fabric is silky brocade in a rich burgundy color. I don't know what is in that luxurious fabric, but it definitely blocks out light. It also has the added plus of providing absolute privacy. No one can see through this curtain. The price is terrific, too, a fraction of what I've seen blackout curtains sold for elsewhere.I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase, and I highly recommend this curtain.These are the best blackout curtains I have come across. They are very pretty without taking over the room. When they are shut the room is quite dark, although some light creeps in around the edges. I can't imagine any curtain is able to prevent a bit of light around the edge though. The fabric has a really nice sheen to it and the pattern is visible without being overpowering. I would highly recommend them on their looks and functionality.I bought this in 2 colors, and the dark brown blocks more light than the 'natural' but it is still not blackout. The lighter color isn't even particularly light blocking, much less blackout. Also, I ordered 4 of the natural panels, and 1 of the panels does not match the other 3 in color-the difference is definitely noticeable with 2 panels hanging side by side. These are fairly nice looking curtains, but not blackout, so I am returning them.These curtains are elegant but thin and bout what I was expecting. I returned them and ordered solid beige black out curtains instead.They do block out most of the light. I'm hoping they do as well this winter keeping the heat in.Bought this in red first and loved them so much I got the tan. High quality, great price fast shipping. Check measurements because the one in the pic looks like 82x40, actual product is shorter and wider, very happy, exactly what I wanted.
