This would be worth the price just for the parting tool. The separate tools come well sharpened. I have yet to try out the skew tool with the handle, but can tell it is quite sharp. For smaller turning projects, This is a dandy little tool set. I do more of a "production" type turning, where I am turning multiple similar items from a variety of woods. It would be time consuming to switch the tools out in the handle for each item turned, as I use a skew, parting tool and roughing/spindle gouge on each piece I turn. I like the weight of the tool and the knurled grip makes it easy to hold on to.
